Another important quality in a nurse that gets less attention than some of the more obvious ones is having time management skills. This is important as a nurse will have many patients to take care of, and each patient will have different tasks that the nurse is required to complete. This isn’t usually represented, because the nurse is just pictured as a hero and not why, but time management plays a big role in why a nurse completes what they do in a day. I think the challenging part about mundane duties of a nurse will be the initial assessments for each patient. I only think that this will be challenging because you could consider it the boring aspects of nursing, but at the end of the day it could be the most important information received. An image that could represent the quality of time management is a nurses brain thinking of many things at the same time. A nurse doesn’t have the capability to do all things at once but making time for each patient is key.
