Ethical Considerations for EBP

Ethical Considerations for EBP

My understanding of the nurses contribution hasn’t really changed from before and after the assignments. The most important thing is the nurse is the biggest advocate for the patient and practice ethical care that is going to benefit their health. I think that it is important for nurses to know the historical evolution of ethics because it allows them to learn from unethical mistakes that may have happened in the past. Patients may still consider the bad things that happened as something that will still happen today. It is important to ensure patients that nurses work very hard every day to ensure that those incidences are not still occurring. Achieving the course objectives has greatly contributed to my success in understanding the ethical conduct of research, quality improvement, and evidenced-based practice initiatives. I can confidently say that I have learned how to include research in the everyday nursing care. And that all of nursing care should be focused off new, improved, evidenced research.
