I anticipate that this project will be accomplished by a lot of teamwork and communication with other group members. It won’t always be easy, but we must incorporate each team member in every step of the way to the final project and we all need to find a time that works best for each and every one of us. Our communication plan is to remain honest with each other when assigning tasks and holding each other accountable for the completion of these assignments. We will split the work evening and help each other when someone may be struggling a little bit. We are all responsible for the product, it’s not one person on the line. Our plan for conflict management is to just speak up to one another and say something along the lines of; “hey we discussed this assignment was going to get done by now, is there a reason it’s not done? Is there something as team members that we can do to help get it done.” You want to be supportive and understanding to your teammates, maybe they had a couple of questions we could help them with.

Benefits to working as a team include different perspectives to the project, working as a team can provide less stress towards one individual, and you can learn more by helping your team try to understand the information. Some barriers would be, trying to find a time where we can all meet, finding a place where we can gather, and team members not putting in 100% of their effort. We can overcome barriers by good communication, each group member could send out a schedule when they are available, we can meet on zoom so that we wouldn’t have to find time and a location. All of this is useful in the future nursing practice because you are going to come across barriers in your line of work and it is important to know how to work through the barriers and overcome them. There will always be steps along the way that weren’t necessarily planned, but you have to push through it anyways.
